Quando recitare il Viddui?

541. Notte. E’ possibile recitare il Viddui anche durante la notte, persino nella prima parte. (vedi Ben Ish Chai 1 Ki Tissà 8)

542. Tempo inadatto. In generale si può recitare il Viddui in qualsiasi momento, tranne :
 a. Shabbat e Yom Tov, Chol HaMo’ed. (vedi Halakhàh Beruràh 131:7)
b. Motzaè Shabbat. All’uscita di Shabbat fino a Chatzot Laylàh (metà della notte zemanit) (Kaf HaChajim Sofer (Orach Chajim 131:14))
c. Motzaè Yom Tov. Come Shabbat. (vedi fonti halakhàh successiva e Halakhàh Beruràh 131:7)
d. Motzaè Chanukàh, Purim, Rosh Chodesh e simili. Si evita di recitarlo fino a Chatzot Laylàh. (vedi Ben Ish Chai 1 Ki Tissà 7, Kaf HaChajim Sofer (Orach chajim 131:14))
